Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) approached us with a challenge: they needed an effective solution to protect their storefront windows from smash-and-grab burglaries.

The task was to develop something entirely new and more secure than the products already available on the market. We immediately began development, and within a few months, we had a prototype ready to present to the client.

To demonstrate the system’s strength, we planned a live test where a car would crash straight into a mounted window. It turned out to be an unnecessarily dramatic start – just hours before the test, we still didn’t have a testing car. At the last minute, we managed to buy one from a nearby cement factory, sight unseen.

The test was a great success and the client, who observed the entire process on-site, was thoroughly impressed. We had solved a previously unsolvable problem: protecting buildings and entrances from smash-and-grab attacks. Keep safe system® was born.

Today, NK has installed Keep safe system® in their department stores in both Stockholm and Gothenburg. Several burglary attempts have been made, but all have failed, while the stores have continued operating without interruptions, high costs, or personal injuries.

And now, Keep safe system® is contributing to safer environments in many other public spaces.
